As a Sedona artist, I’m also a graphic artist and painting and creating contemporary southwest Sedona Landscape paintings in the style of modern abstracts. One day I decided to paint a separate whimsical sky for Snoopy Rock that you, my collectors, can delight in my new style. Then from the original, I cut out the background leaving Snoopy in the foreground. Giving it the tile of Electric Snoopy. Hence more amazing art in the style of contemporary Sedona art prints.
Snoopy is Charlie Brown‘s pet beagle in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. Found in all of the Peanuts movies and television specials, The Peanuts Movie. Since his debut on October 4, 1950, he has become one of the most recognizable and iconic characters. The original drawings of Snoopy were inspired by Spike, one of Schulz’s childhood dogs. So, I created this Sedona landscape painting of Snoopy Rock. Of course, I had NO IDEA how many visitors would buy this image. I quickly found out that this would be a big seller in metal minis and canvas prints. Kids and adults alike love this whimsical Sedona art print.

Amazingly Snoopy Rock
Best seen from Sound Bites Grill at the Shops at Hyatt Pinon Pointe. Sound Bites offers live music & dancing, highlighting this American restaurant with panoramic red rock views. Amazingly, Snoopy Rock looks like Snoopy lying on his back, on top of his doghouse with Woodstock on his nose! What is even more amazing is that a rock formation in the profile of Lucy is overlooking Snoopy.
